Wow, congrats on your list of AMGs. I would hope that Mercedes gave you bulk discount after you spending half of million lol.
How would you compare the SL with the C in power delivery and overall feel?

Well after the mods i have done the C and ML both have substantially more power and would proobably outrun the SL but the shifting in the SL is a real joy. SL has a nice noise on the throttel blipping than the C, dont think i will ever turn the radio on in the SL as the exhaust is music too my ears. No doubt the SL feels heavier than the C.

I perfectly know what I'm talking about, I have all the price lists, I oftenly email german companies for more details about their products.

My point was not to attack you, my point is to say that Products sold by brabus vath, carlsson and many more are ridiculously overpriced. Those products are intended to be sold to Middle-east oil-heads and in japan. In the culture of those countries , expensive means great. So those people don't try to find the best part for their cars at the best price, they want to have the most expensive parts so they can say to their neighbor : "Look, my engine tuning is more expensive than yours"

Brabus and others are really not popular brands on this forum. Smart americans perfer to buy products from dynamic americans companies like Speeddriven,VRP,Evosort, euroteck,Renntech.

For exemple , user "Soulsearcher" wanted to build a Beast from his SL600.

Do you think he was stupid enough to buy a 6.3S Conversion from brabus for $80,000???

No. He asked an unknown genius called Marcin to build a set of aftermarket
turbos, That make 500Hp more than the Brabus kit for probably 1/3 of the price.

Sometimes When I read the brabus Price list I just want to roll on the floor.

From my (extensive) research, importing to Australia and installing the Evopsort and Renntech kits that achieve similar power level cost the same as Brabus, Vaeth and Kleeman, assuming i could find someone in the country that would even be willing to take on the job as neither of those parties have local distributors. My cars have had mods installed by qualified local distributors who will provide warranty backup should it be required. Simple

Further more, having custom work done in Australia costs $$ far in excess of tuners like Brabus who have tried and tested products. I am not interested in being some tuners guinea pig. Anyone who has read Havoc's threads on his SL knows what happens when things go wrong etc. I am very comfortable with my choice.
