SL55 to SLR conversion?
I was looking around the forums and say conversions from sl55 to sl63, made me wonder, any conversions to SLR?
Is the SL55 the same basic frame or is it completely different? can you bolt on the front end of the SLR to the 55?
More a curiosity than something I would do...

Some company make the front end body kits that look like SLR but I haven't seen any that's really good. SLR has a complete different platform so no real conversion can be done.

Why on earth would anyone want to do this to an SL? Its looks a mutt-mess. People that drive one of the better Mercedes models are supposed to have better taste than this.

IMO a complete waste of money.

should leave a good looking car as it is, the SL63 is a fine example.

It's hard to improve the appearance of a car that looks amazing in its stock form. That's why I'm not touching the exterior of my SL55.. except for the addition of my HREs!
