Lowering via Star/SDS

I'm looking for someone to lower my SL55 via the Star/SDS. I'm located near Daytona Beach. Anyone in Daytona Beach, Orlando or Jacksonville that can do it?

I lowered my 2003 with SDS and was only able to take out 1/2" before the voltage ran out of range. A newer car might fare better but as Gfear pointed out, links will probably give you the best result.

I lowered my car via star as well. Problem is, like you said voltage. I dont know much about the voltage issue. From what I read in the E55 DIY star thread. You dont want to go over 3v?? I'm not sure why and I would like to know.

So... after lowering It was not super aggressive once you reach that 3v mark, or just before that.. For me, still having a stock wheel setup I'll take the small drop as well. Its better than nothing lol.

I sell Links all the time to people that have wasted money trying to lower via SDS. The vehicle will either not stay low or lower to a customers preference. With Links you can set the vehicle exactly to you liking and you can always sell them if you decide to get rid of the vehicle.

I did both on my CL. Links and SDS. I wanted my wheels tucked nicely against the fenders but when I put the links in and adjusted them to the perfect height and went for a drive the car freaked out and raised up so I had to adjust the links to where the car would accept the new lowered position (not as low as i wanted it to be) and then went to the dealer to lower it the rest of the way with SDS and got it perfect.

On my sl55 I just used the links and it worked great. Funny, you can slam the sl and the computer doesn't freak but the cl is another story.
