ACG San Diego // Prior Design Aero Kit for R230 WIDEBODY!
Prior Design is a German company. All the pieces are made in Germany and they are TUV certified. that means the quality is absolutely top notch.
This particular kit will work on a 2009 + SL R230 as a simple bolt-on.
It will also work on a pre-facelift R230 but you will need:
OEM Hood
OEM Grill
OEM Headlights
OEM Headlight Treys

Updated the original post:
Here are the parts needed to complete the facelift conversion of the SL if you have a pre 2009 model. The kit now includes a hood, that is simmilar to the OEM but is a little more aggressive. I will get you images of this soon.
Original AMG front grill (with or without Disctronic)
facelift headlights
Xenon balasts
front aluminium carrier/beam
headlight cleaning injectors
If requested also:
complete facelift mirrors
AMG facelift brake lights
AMG facelift break lights
AMG Exhaust or PRIOR-Design Exhaust

Who makes those rims? What's the max size (diameter and width) do you recommend for the 2005 SL55 AMG?
...If you want to take my black 2005 SL55 AMG and do the kit for free, you can take it to SEMA and keep it for a month...or a week. LOL

Yes, it can be ordered that way. If you are getting the rear and the sides you are avoiding the most expensive part of this upgrade, the headlights.
That being said, the front bumper, the fender and the sideskits are designed to create a wider fender flare. If you are getting the sideskirts, a body shop would have to trim them to work with the OEM front fender.
