SL 55 and Range Rover Sport Supercharged
The company is called 4Mercedes out of Florida. Base cost for a fully refurbished strut with all new seals is $950 including shipping and they will credit you back $150 for returning your old strut. They have a 99.2% satisfaction rating on ebay. They have only had 1 out of 300 refurbished struts have to be redone. They come with a one year warranty. Total including return shipping of my old strut will be approximately $820 compared with the new price at parts.com of roughly $1200.

Poor SL! Simplicity is key. Op although everyone has their own taste, here is what I would do with that car...
Sell rims and get new ones, if not possible, matte face, gloss black lips. Get rid of all the extra stupid badging you put on. Paint the front grills upper and lower black, paint diffuser mesh black. Lower that thing, looks like a 4x4! And I guarantee you, people would have some nicer comments for your car!

DCMETROZ, you are quite right, the bashing is so damn funny and sometimes so original you are left busting your gut with laughter! I do not take it personally at all as cars are truly a matter of personal taste - while I was not overly thrilled with the rear chrome bumper mesh on mine and may very well paint is black again, I love the front chrome mesh as it does emulate the Aston Martin (I know the SL55 is not an AM nor a Jaguar but that still does not, in MY mind, reduce the beauty of effect the chrome mesh has when you see the car, in person, head on) and the side badges may be steamed off as I do like them but am quite interested to see the overall effect without them. The 'Wolverine Claws' (and the "I want to Wolverine claw my eyes out" comment had me in stitches!) and side skirts I LOVE...you just have to see them in person against the black paint - they truly make the car stand out - but, hey, that is my opinion and clearly not everyone (or almost no one!) shares that opinion and that is how life goes. Overall, this is a 'tough crowd' to put it mildly but nonetheless where else can you have so much fun with a group with such wildly differing views on a subject that they all have in common? Keep 'em coming fellas!!!
I can never hate on a person who customizes based on their own passion. In this case the Aston Martin. I respect that and your attitude.
Some of the comments in this thread were funny and I certainly had a good laugh. Since you know it's all in good fun. I see no harm being done. I know all too well what it's like to be involved in some heated debates. Ive even flown off the handle a couple times. I only wish they could have turned out like this instead. I suppose the problem may have started with me... Thanks for showing me how threads that look negative at first can still be turned into something positive and amusing for everyone to enjoy!

I am sorry to say you have destroyed one of the best cars ever made. This is a Mercedes Benz AMG not a Honda accord, somethings you just dont do. You have way to much going on all those extra badges make the car look about $120k cheaper than what it originally cost when it first came out!!! smdh I am deeply concerned how any one could possibly do this to a classic car and feel good about it!!!! smdh!
