SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: SL55 PICS FINALLY!!

I am also very interested to see what effect the air intake and headers have without the ECU mod...I will post the results when I get them in a couple of weeks!
AN IMPORTANT ANNOUCEMENT: One of our fellow SL55 owners and valued Forum Members, Charles Pearson, received his orders this morning to deploy back to Iraq in Feb. This Ranger has survived two ambushes already in both Iraq and Afghanistan - he deserves our praise, thanks and most importantly PRAYERS for a safe return to his family and to our Forum. Chuck, a HUGE THANK YOU from all of us in Canada to you and the troops that keep all of us safe and sound.

God speed and get home safely.
Rory
One thing I love about this forum, CANDOR. No sugar coating allowed. By the way, I have an STP sticker I will let you have. I think it would look great next to the Wolverine claw thingy.
Charles, be safe my friend. Thank you for keeping us safe.
Love CANDOR...it is the only way I live my life...hate B.S. but love trash talk as there can be some serious wit an humour in it if done without malice! Can't stop thinking about Chuck going back to Iraq...man, what a hero. I would be scared spitless it I was sent into the crap like that...AGAIN!

Champ...thanks for pointing this out...I think some fuzzy dice and leapard skin steering wheel covers may be in short order for you
... seriously I don't think I've seen someone react the way you did on the forums I commend you for that
E bay has a special offer on fluffy dice, carbon fibre with chrome spots, you get a 20% discount or a free set of Tyrannosaurus Rex claws(now thats what you call claws)

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
By the way, I am NO HERO! All of the Hero's paid the ultimate sacrifice in World War I,II,Vietnam, Grenada, Mogadishu,Desert Storm, Kosovo, and current day Afghanistan and Iraq. There are many, many people like me out there, you just don't see or hear from them too much. Remember Pointe Du Hoc on Omaha Beach June 6 1944, D-Day, that's were the Ranger legacy starts (Williams,2000). Some of you may know that the Ranger's led the way up through the vigorous mountainous terrain, hence the term "Ranger's Lead The Way! And personally,Yeah, I do consider you as a hero, because I don't have the Quarter of the half of the testicules to Go to war.
I'll be right back, my lunch is making an emergency exit out of the front of my face.
But I would agree, this thread is not about me so please stop flattering me with all of your kind soft hearted gestures LOL, your making me feel like a Rock Star for crying out loud and I haven't even squeezed the trigger for years. Never pull the trigger you may miss, always squeeze the trigger and control your breathing men. It's called the 8 fundimentals of close quarters marksmenship (CQM): 1-Stance
2- Grip
3- Breathing
4- Sight alignment
5- Sight picture
6- Trigger squeeze
7- Follow through
8- Recovery
Is that leading the way Bro?

Hmm ... not what I had in mind, but informative.
Lets try this, "Rory, WTF Bro? It's like your Mercedes had sex with an Impala while smoking crack, and gave birth to that monstrosity you call an SL55 AMG."
Yes, I'm done now. Thank you and have a nice day
