2007 SL55
New (to me) SL55

I just bought a 2007 SL55 with AMG performance package on Saturday 19 June. Sorry for the lousy cellphone camera picture, but best I could do first thing this morning before work. I've been looking for an SL for over a year and finally found a color combination and options package that I liked and the price was brilliant, and the F430 needed a stablemate. Life is good.

More photos later, but for now just wanted to join the forums and say hello.

Congratulations to your car(s)..!

Red without metallic is, at least here in Europe, veeery unusual!
I'm getting mine "foiled" (taped with red foil) next week...

Thumbs up Plug for dealership

New to this forum, so if there is a more proper place to post this, please let me know....

I just wanted to share an experience with the dealership where I recently bought my SL55. In more closely reviewing the paperwork after the transaction, I felt that I had been charged for something I hadn't agreed to, and fired a shot across the bow of the dealership via a customer satisfaction survey (I had also placed a call to their business manager and we were trading voice mails). To their credit, the sales manager immediately (within two hours of me filling out the form from the survey company) called me and was extremely professional and within less than 30 minutes he had the whole thing straightened out to my complete satisfaction. It was clear that he wanted to make it right, whatever it was, and wanted to make sure that he worked to changed my perception, etc.

In the end, we chocked it all up to a miscommunication between the business manager and me at time of sale. I actually believe that is what happened at this point having spoken with both managers.

So, I just wanted to say KUDOS to Euromotorcars of Bethesda, Maryland, for being concerned enough about my issue to immediately take care of the problem. At not time did they question my perception of the string of events, nor try to tell me I was wrong. They did properly deal with the situation and did salvage the relationship with a very well handled couple of phone calls. I would not hesitate to recommend them if you are looking for a high quality used MB of any type.

I am not associated with the dealership nor any employees in the dealership, etc. I just like the way they handled my concerns and they now have a loyal customer.

I find that that the entire EuroMotorCars Group is great. I use their Germantown location for service, and I get treated great there.
