NEW SL55 Performance Pkg front bumper cover w/fogs and SL Lowering Links
I've got a couple items from my SL55 I sold a couple months ago:
Brand new never installed Mercedes OE SL55 Performance Pkg front bumper cover Bumper cover has been sold . It has been primed. Rare! $1200 including fog lights + shipping.

Lowering Links:
On the car for ~2 days. Removed them b/f I sold the car.
$275 shipped to any state in the lower 48 free.
They were installed, adjusted and removed. They were removed at the ride height in the pic below. If you like the setting you will not have to make any adjustments.

No, but from what I gather, the 05 and 06 SL65/SL55 Performance Pkg has the bigger air vent on the side and the 07 and 08 SL65/SL55 Performance Pkg has the split air vent on the side. Check out the pics above. You can always call parts.com to verify. They are brand new Mercedes OE front bumper covers though.

Yeah, the Prior Design bumper is nice. I like the the 07 and 08 SL65/SL55 Performance Pkg bumper with the split air vent on the sides. I think it matches the side vent on the fenders better than the 05 and 06 bumper with the large single air vent.
Either way, let us know which one you chose..

You are going to need more than what meets the eye to do this correctly. I did the conversion to the2008 performance package on my SL55 a couple of years ago. There are number of interior brackets, reinforcements, panels,etc that need to be changed as well. I have the complete parts list for the conversion but unfortunately it is on my computer in my place of business. If you would like I can send it to you on Monday.

The car is perfect with 44,000 miles and I just chose to put some cash and a new paint scheme on it. It has some nice wheels already. Just upgraded the stereo as well so I just decided to keep it. Any other thoughts?

Another suggestion would be installing an AMG kit, front and rear bumpers, side skirts, and dark tail lights.
