2007 Väth SL65 AMG. 2007 BMW Alpina B5s. 2007 BMW M6.
No shadow on Porsche, but it's not that hard to see a big factor of their success.
It doesn't weigh anything!
As this video shows;
Fast to begin with (weight is more important)!
Gets beaten in higher speeds (weight is less important)!
(Of course, 4wd tend to make this scenario even clearer, but that's another story...)

And when you sit in one, it becomes reeeaaally obvious, because they are very small and narrow inside,
and everything is "in your face", sort of...
An SL feels like like an hangar inside when it comes to cockpit-space, compared to the 911.
A slight exaggeration perhaps, but I think you get my point...

That 911TT is not stock. Has k24/18g turbos plus supporting mods. Pushing 600 awhp (700+ hp) with 3450 pounds.

Your worst nightmare...
SL-BS is just too heavy...Mercedes could have done a better job there I think.

I had an Protomotive K24/18g setup on my 996tt, it was a monster. I could just imagine what it would be like on a 997tt

Excuse me for being unfamiliar with Porsche details/appellations.
I think that it stands for some bigger turbo/turbos, am I right..?
And in that case, what does "K24" stand for. And what does the "18g" stand for..?

Consider the K24 being a brand of turbos or the characteristics of the turbo...I believe these turbos are equal in size to the V12 cars. The 18g is the compressor wheel upgrade, meaning wheels was upgraded from the factory one. I am no turbo expert but this sould give you an idea. The Spool on this upgrade is awesome.

SL 63 W/B AMG , S600,C220
So the Porsche is a tad faster, but you would expect that after reading
the spec, BUT

The SL is better looking, better built, smoother, more comfortable, better
interior and of course a convertible, and more expensive in the 65.
That' why you should by a SL63, if your gonna get beaten the be beaten
by something that has a better power to weight, and you can be beaten
at 105 grand instead of 150 grand, makes sense doesn't it.

SL55 AMG
was the SL65 BS modded with tune or 100%stock? The 996 and 997 can be made to be pure monsters, with the weight advantage, AWD, and good traction...once the boost comes in hard it's all over...same with the GTR
