Looks nice. I'd love to see them in video going down the road at about 5 or 10mph.

Is it just me or do the wheels in the third photo look like they are on wrong? The fins should be canted so that the sharp edge moves clockwise into the wind on that side of the car. Otherwise you don't get the "fan" effect of the wheels. The wheels appear correct on the driver's side of the car (counter-clockwise rotation). Strange.

The rear wheel in the third pic looks correct but the front does look strange. It appears that the curved/concave part of the spoke is facing forward. The other three that side is facing in the other direction.

wheels look good, but way too busy for me. Never really liked the fan look. Too complex looking for the car...a simple 5 spoke or split spoke IMO works best on the SL... also a little lowering would look great on the car...but nice ride overall well done

I still say Lorinser cheaps out by manufacturing one type of wheel instead of making staggered sets in which the "fans" turn the proper way when attached to the right-hand side of the car... (actual SLR below -- note direction of wheel fan blades)

Always thought so too!

I myself have aftermarket wheels. But I find them even nicer than original AMG.
Why you say..?
1. Because the original rims are only 19", with no lip.
2. Because the fake ones are 20", and wider in the rear (10"), AND have a fat lip.
I'm not saying I always prefer a lip, but in this AMG-case, I absolutely do!

And since the original SLR wheel come in lefts & rights, then everything else feels wrong in a cheap kinda way!
Because I really do believe Lorinser had the SLR wheel in mind, when designing them.

But I guess, not many people notices that. it's just us nerds!
And btw, nobody can see both sides at the same time right...

the brakes on any road car are not used nearly hard enough to warrant the cooling from basic ducting let alone outrageous fans on the wheels, it's more of a design thing than function, heck if you wanted cooling on brakes you'd use ducting before a fan wheel...I don't get the need for this design besides looks and for the sales person to have a "wow" bogus brake cooling story in the showroom for customers
