ABC leaking
Hello,
does anyone have an idea on a price and possibly an aftermarket replacement for a ABC pump. I beleive mine is leaking.
Parked my car in the garage for two weeks and when I took a look the front left was slagging.
thank you forum

There is a company that rebuiilds them and sells them fro $600 per pump. Im sure someone else will chime in on where to order them.

Could also be a valve in the valve block that doesn't close for the full 100% so that over time the pressure goes away and it starts sagging. Both my ABC equipped cars do so after some time, and none have a leak.

My 06 SL 55 also now has started to sag/lower only at the drivers rear quarter. It happens after sitting for approx 2-3 weeks and will come back into the correct position after the car is started. I didn't know if this was something that needed addressed or is this considered "normal" for this to lose pressure over time.

ABC Parts Supplier
I believe this is the company that you were inquiring about. Have not personally dealt with them, but they come recommended from a good source:

So is this something that needs to be taken cared of immediatley or is this normal when the car sits for a while.

Well, not normal. But it's not really a problem as the ABC gets up to pressure on start (I have to press the ABC up button).
The problem as I've been told is that contamination in the ABC fluid will clog up the valves to more or less extent preventing them from closing for the full 100%. I reckon that as it takes a couple of weeks for the car to lower that it isn't a biggie.
