SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Sl55 or Cl65

Sl55 or Cl65
So Guys im on the lookout for either a Sl55 or Cl65 I have found two cars that look reasonably priced. Most likely these cars dont have a warranty on them so is there any where were I could get a warranty for my car. Also which car would u pick and for what reason ? Oh and are these cars

Looking for CLS55 AMG
I would not buy from the first dealer. They are notorious for doing shady business up here in illinois.
I have personally looked at the CL65 you are looking at (first link) and it looks pretty beat up

Both cars have questionable titles and I personally would not consider either one. I'm also in the market for an 05-06 CL65 and considered the one you posted. Nice car but not for me, I can wait for the right one.

To get the best of the best stay away from dealers that get their inventories from auctions. Reputable dealers that take in trades or cars that come off of leases are most likely to have the one owner cars with low mileage. Beware of private parties unless they can show you papers that they purchaed it new. You want to be the 2nd Owner.
Make sure you get an extended warranty. It will be costly, but it's necessary to protect your investment from costing you more in repairs than its worth.

2013 SL550 (Lux Sport), 2006 CL55 AMG (Muscle). S550 (Wife's Sedan)
I currently own a 2003 SL500, a 2005 CL500, (wife's car), and a 2006 CL55 AMG. The non-AMG models are the daily drivers for myself and my wife. The SL is great especially when the weather allows you to enjoy it with the top down. However, if I could only own (1) car for the rest of my life, one that does EVERYTHING well, while satisfying my desire for spirited driving, it would definitely be the 2006 CL55 AMG!

CL is a great car but I personally wouldn't give up the SL's retractable roof.

Has to be the SL55. Best sounding car ever. Saw (heard) one aurally eclipse a Ferrari 599 at the casino in Monaco a few years back. In comparison the sound of the 65 at idle is rough and uninspiring; it does find it's voice at higher revs but trust me you'll prefer the 55.
In performance terms the 65 may be a bit quicker but the SL55 is certainly no slouch, especially if you can get the 2006 (2007?) model that generated 508 bhp and 535 lb-ft. Should you desire more than that, a little tune should unlock even more power for 'little or nothing'.
