I needed almost 2 full tenths, which means I needed a full tenth off my 60', to hit 10s. In order for me to get a 1.59-1.63 60', I'd have to launch her pretty darn hard.

I'm gonna go about getting in the 10s a different way. Instead of beating the car up at the line, I'm going to do it with IAT control, so the car doesn't pull timing on the big end. Hopefully, I'll see 10.99 one day.

Trust me if you can hold the car back and come out of the hole boosting 4-6 lbs you'll be in the power band a lot sooner and you'll have your 10.xx seconds of fun and don't forget to stage deep..you dont necessarily have to turn a 60 that deep into the 1.6s but I get where your coming from

holy ***** thats fast. any exhaust work,intake(filters),cooling mods on this car?

if not, this might be a record breaker......

Only mods are OE Tuning ECU tune/Speedriven TCU tune, BMC filters and muffler delete. And these passes were with Mickey Thompson ET Street DRs. See video in my sig.

And yes, it's currently the #1 quickest SL600 in the 1/4 mile.

Soulsearcher's car is definitely faster, but to date, my ET is better. He's done an awful lot of work to that car, so it's only a matter of time...
