Bonding flares
I have been building cars all of my life and now customize High speed Yachts (Sunseekers mainly) with the new carbon fibers and resins this will not be a problem . The secret is to use a two part system such as West system with a slow hardener . I have built several fiberglass cars when I was in Alaska with zero problems . I am going to be purchasing the Misha kit as I have a SL500 I purchased from the bank for 15K . The value of these cars are still going down . I will be posting pics of the car when I am done. My girlfriend has a 2006 that she purchased for 91K and was offered 28K on a trade (????)

Misha kit
I purchased the Misha kit yesterday as the fiberglass lay up and fitting to the car is perfect and is worth every penny . Misha is a down to earth person and after loading up my kit he took me to a shop that has lambos ect to see the stages of another one being built up . I called him half a dozen times and he was always there for me and answered all of my questions . He has been building cars for a long time owns all of the molds . IE in case of a fender bender . Parts are available. I want to thank all of the people for steering me in his direction .

I don't like the super hero look of the Misha Kit. Not a slam on Misha, beautiful builds on the forum just not my style. I want it to look as close to a BS 65 as possible. I love the look of the OEM BS. The Misha design looks like a kit. TC Concepts looks as close to stock as anyone has gotten at this point.

Its a matter of personal taste .They both look great. Joe from diovola has th BS kit for 7,500 however he has one that someone flaked on you could get it for 6,500 . the lights and grill will run you another 3,000 . I am at the point of no return as I am already thinking about modifing the interior to the european model with carbon fibre ect the only thing that I will most likley do is use fake carbon fiber over the Air bag covers in the doors as they will save your life . I had a mercedes hit me doing over 80 in my JCW# mini cooper and I walked away without a scratch .

You'll still need to cut the rear fender arches w/that kit, as the ENTIRE rear 1/4's on ALL SL's are WELDED to the actual frame @ factory etc..
That kit is nice but if Sarona's? look closely, the fenders are much thicker & hold a different angle than actual OEM Black Series or MishaDesigns. Look @ finished pix of Sarona SL's closely you'll see it's very off...

Sorry you're incorrect... Trust me the Sarona fender angle & actual thickness is way off, to a point of it looking very disproportionate vs real BS or MishaDesigns FENDERS..
Congratz on purchase but look again it's not wheels or color choice Sarona fenders ESP rear are way dif etc.. I've studied them ALL till nearly goin cross eyed

I think soronas car is throwing you off because of the wheels and it's color. Tc's car looks identical because it's black and has less flashy wheels that flow really well and don't over exaggerate the body lines of the car. All of the companies that are building the sl bs kits used the same factory parts to make molds out of. The misha kit is the one that is definitely way off from the bs kit. But that is why he calls his kit bs inspired. I personally would take the sorona kit over mishas but ones again it's just my preference. Im personally am purchasing the diavolo bs kit.
