Question SL63 AMG Brake rotors

Hey guys,

I'm searching for some brake rotors for my SL 63. I'm looking for a pair of front rotors and a pair of rear rotors. All what I have found so far, are rear brake rotors for zimmerman. I couldnt find anything for the front rotors. I know that Evosport has some from Rotora. Is there any good provider that you all know of that can provide me with bothe front and rear rotors for my SL 63 amg?

Why do you keep saying Evosport rotors are from Rotora? They're not so please stop passing false information. It's pathetic that you seem to continue to think you know facts when you really just mouth off without any credibility.

The Evosport rotors (that are NOT from Rotora) are hands down the best on the market. I've had them on my CLS55 and C63.

Hey Blabbermouth,

Take a look at this product guide from Evosport:
http://www.evosport.com/product/vehi.../MBZ_63AMG.pdf

(Rotora Brake system $5300)

Do not hesitate to feel like a jackass

I asked for help, obviously you dont have it, and you want to mess around, so please buzz off

Wow, the more you post the more of a fool you reveal yourself to be. I read that PDF you posted. Did you?

Rotora Brake System:
Complete Brake System: Front, 8-Piston, 380x34mm (15") 2-Piece Rotor; Rear, 4-Piston
380x34mm (15"). Rotors available in Slotted or Slotted/Drilled. Calipers available in Metallic
Blue, Red or Silver. Includes stainless brake lines, hardware and street pads. Higher
performance pads for street and race available as additional option.
Note: This setup is compatible with stock 19” wheels. 380mm (15”) 4-Piston rear optional.

Hmm, sounds like a big brake kit option to me (a la Brembo). These are NOT the 2-piece rotors they offer as OE replacements which are on a separate item on that same PDF. Please READ READ READ before making your comments. This is EXACTLY why people like you help spread false information on these boards. If you just take the time to take a breath instead of firing from the hip without justification.

We've put some Rotoras on the the SL600s and 65s that have come in on customer's request. Short version: they're not as good as stock. I'd stick with stock. Longer version: go with a Brembo 2-pc. if you must change the hardware - try it with a big Audi caliper if you want a different look (that's what RENNtech does - looks great).
