trade sl55 for e55...what's your opinion?

Good day. I was curious what you guys think would be a fair deal in a trade between the following cars:

2003 SL55
70k miles
Parktronic, pano roof, keyless go, iForged 20" wheels

2005 E55
66k miles
Standard options plus the following mods:
HRE 19" wheels, 180mm pulley, eisenmann sport exhaust, tuned, carbon front lip, wald carbon difusser, 4 years left on extended warranty (fidelity platinum).

Both cars are in excellent condition inside and out. What would be a fair trade?

straight up. both cars are worth the same wholesale (27-28k) and retail (30-31k) money.

actually come to think of it your car is worth prolly a grand more as it is coming to season while the e55s have nothing going on for them right now

At one time a few years ago I owned both cars at the same time. While the E as described will have more power and will be quicker you probably will be disappointed in the overall build quality. Having both at the same time it became very apparent that the E was a cheaper car than the SL55. So unless you are going to be a racing pro at the drags or at stoplights stick with the SL.

I am simply looking to see what would be a fair trade between both cars. Not interested in which is faster or better. Just curious what you guys think would be a fair deal.

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
Just me....

but I wouldn't call an 03 SL 55 27-28k. With great miles, surely more, with those miles, nope. Very little paper to be bought on them. I have just found miley AMG's to be a tough go. Maybe it would do that, but I don't know where.

I have both a SL55 and a E55. My SL is modified and the E stock. The SL is great for some things and the E is great for others..especially when you have a couple of people you want to take to dinner. Keep the SL and just buy the E!

Come on guys, please read my request for help on deciding what would be a fair trade between the two. Not looking for opinions on which is better.
