Found these today, haven't seen them before. They only have pictures of it up close so I'm not sure how it would look overall. Anyone have any experience with these?

They don't Fit

They do not Fit. I have a 2005 Sl500 and I purchased 2 sets so far. First set is for 2002-2005 Models and the second set is for 2005-2009 models. None of them fit on my car.

Perfect fit

Perfect fit , had them on a w211 04 and my 03 sl500 , plug and play! Just need to power the ground leds maybe thru the lights under the dash that light up when you unlock or oprn doors! As the 03 dosent have ground lights

SL55 AMG EC Stage 5 Beast / ESS S/C E92 M3

I purchased my first set from 55Tech, I ordered BLACK & they didn't specify that they only have the them in metallic black? I was going to have them striped primed & painted because 55Tech didn't really care to do anything about the fact that they didn't specify or have BLACK but when I tested the LEDs one was DOA! So I ended up getting 55Tech to send me replacements but this time I ordered the UNPAINTED... they are at the painters now & I am hoping to have back by the weekend to do the install.

I have taken apart one factory cover to see how difficult it would be & it is pretty simple... the hardest thing & the thing that will make you think you are doing something wrong is popping off the mirror & that is exactly what you do pop it off forcefully! after that it is basically four screws & a couple of clips & it is off!

I know a few have em on here, i've seen in a pic thread just dont remember. I've been told by the vendor that "fit" is not perfect, and I'm wondering on some real feedback, so anyone please.. =)
