and by rear lights, you mean only the left and right tails? or also with the brake light?

a little bit expensive in Europe ( germany ) i can find it for about 350 euros ( 550 $).

If you can find them for $550 US, DO IT! You're never gonna see them that cheap over here. In all my years on this forum, I've seen the AMG tails show up, used in the classifieds, 2 or 3 times at most. And you usually have to pay $450-$600 for them.

If you're saying you can get them new, for $550.00....I'd do that deal 100 times out of 100.

Note that there are 2 versions of the AMG tail lights. One with smoked clear glass and one with non-clear, but also smoked glass. The latter ones are available for cheap pretty often. The ones with the clear glass have been used on AMG SLs starting with MY2006 AFAIK.

Non-AMG R230 taillights are solid red (2002-2006) and clear glass with a white (non-smoked stripe) 2006-now.

All taillight versions will fit your R230 without any further modification.

It's both the same link. And yea, these are the clear-glass (Klarglas) taillights.

Yep, these are the non-clear glass taillights (the older ones).

Both variants will fit your R230 without any further modification.

I don't know which one i will buy , cause the clear glass are on the last R230 model but i don't want a tunning effect on my R230.
the older looks nice but i like the R230 last model.
perhaps the clear glass would give a little young effect at my R230 ?
but don't want a tunning look with that tailights otherwise i will take the older ones.

Well, if you don't want to change the look of your car, then stick to your current ones.

Otherwise: The clear glass version has been used on all R230 since 2006. It is also found on the current R230 as the 2008 facelift didn't touch the taillights... so all AMG SLs since 2006 have the same taillights.
