If you can find them for $550 US, DO IT! You're never gonna see them that cheap over here. In all my years on this forum, I've seen the AMG tails show up, used in the classifieds, 2 or 3 times at most. And you usually have to pay $450-$600 for them.

Non-AMG R230 taillights are solid red (2002-2006) and clear glass with a white (non-smoked stripe) 2006-now.
All taillight versions will fit your R230 without any further modification.

I don't know which one i will buy , cause the clear glass are on the last R230 model but i don't want a tunning effect on my R230.
the older looks nice but i like the R230 last model.
perhaps the clear glass would give a little young effect at my R230 ?
but don't want a tunning look with that tailights otherwise i will take the older ones.

Otherwise: The clear glass version has been used on all R230 since 2006. It is also found on the current R230 as the 2008 facelift didn't touch the taillights... so all AMG SLs since 2006 have the same taillights.
