Sorry guys don't kill me I have defected

After trying long and hard to find an SL55 that has been either converted or has satisfactory mods for the right price I decided to give up my search and get this baby.

Onward towards a nice La Flor Dominican, dry aged steak and a snifter of Park cognac

I admire the XK, even though this version might be a little underpowered (420 HP?) in comparison to the SL55, it still handles among the best.

Yeah don't feel bad at all. I was almost in to a 2010 XKR before I got the 65. Very cool cars.

You will regret it for the rest of your life.....

Have to admit Jags are picking up their act, the interiors are getting really nice.

Yeah this is my first official bachelor car. Hopefully my girlfriend(probably will a fiancee in a year) can be mature about the attention I will inevitably receive with it.

i think it is an old man's car.

like everything else coming from britain. old, stale and boring before it is even conceived.

now... on a more serious note - congrats. those jags are gorgeous

If by bachelor car you mean 40 year old man that was just divorced and having a midlife crisis, then yes its a bachelor car.

Like the E type it has beautiful lines, in fact there aren't many MB's as pretty.
I love it, unfortunately it's not a convertible and that's a big reason why I drive a SL63, the canvas top Jag aint so nice. I would like to own both, but with the XKR'S. Enjoy your drive, and reflections in shop windows.

Actually thats gives me a question, sorta off topic, why doesn't the BMW 6er have a hardtop? I mean a softie might save weight, but the trade-offs in increased road/wind noise, durability don't justify it in a car thats nearly 6 figures. Even the 3 series has a hardtop.
