SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Anyone have any tips for easier removal of pass side low beam bulb?

Anyone have any tips for easier removal of pass side low beam bulb?
Ugh.....3 blisters and a scraped up wrist later.....and 2 broken bulbs....anyone have any tips for removing that pass side lowbeam bulb? The damn SBC pump is in the way and I tried for 2 hours to change it and couldn't. The driver side has plenty of room to maneuver......passenger side has very little.

you mean the xenon bulb? If so I sympathize with you I spent nearly the same time and with the same result.... sore hands - just take it to a head light installer even took him quite a while but there's no way i could do it.

Bumper has to come off. Unless you have the hands that are the size of a 8 year old asian girl, you're not getting to it.

Yes. Front bumper needs to come off for sake of your sanity. Bumper comes off in 15-30 minutes if you know what you are doing.

I also got mine without pulling the bumper, I did loosen the top bolts on the headlight to get just a bit more wiggle room, but sore hands for at least a week

also, there is a little Bracket on the Pump that is held in with one Philips head screw. if you remove the screw the bracket comes off and gives you another inch of room.
