Time for new shoes

So I'm getting the itch to change up the wheels again on my SL55..Have 20's now and I intended on lowering but the New England roads have prevented me from doing so..they suck so bad that I really don't even drive the car all that much. I want to go to 19's again, thinking either with a stepped lip 2 piece mesh style or one piece forged concave type wheel. I've been out of the loop for a while, can someone point me in the right direction? I bought the 360's before the **** hit the fan with that company but kind of want to stay away from that kind of stuff. Pics are strongly welcomed!

Thanks!

+1000 - don't have pics yet, and it is a different platform but check them out - quality of wheels, customer service and price should put them at the top of your list!!!!!

If you are looking for a forged 1pc concave style wheel, then I would highly urge you to take a look at Rennen's offerings. You can't beat their pricing for a 1pc forged wheel. With that said, if you wanted to go for a multi-piece stepped lip mesh style wheel, there is a plethora of options. We would be happy to explore all the options and find the right set for your SL... Great looking wheels, but they aren't forged. OP specifically mentioned forged Otherwise they would be a good option for sure.

Thanks for all the replies! I like the vossens and will def be on my list...but do prefer forged. Anyone know roughly how much the vossens weigh? Do they only come in 20's? And anyone looking for a set of hardly used 360forged split sevens?

+1 again - I was a little worried about the 20's but after talking to the guys at Vossen and D2 and going through Vossen's 5 year warranty, I pulled the trigger (had the the same "East Coast Roads" fear as you).

amgnut,

CV3s current are 20x9 at 27lbs and 20x10.5 at 28lbs. 19s and 22s are planned with 22s coming first...
