Carbon Fiber A pillars
This is a feeler: Im coing to be working with a new carbon fiber company out of Arizona. In hopes to bring the Mercedes enthusiast some cool options for your cars.
What would the interest be in having the A Pillar outer skin done in carbon fiber on the SL? The carbon overlay could could be ghost painted for those who think the black carbon on there car would look strange. While still showing the carbon fiber as an accent. If these is an interest I can get the ball rolling pretty much right way. The outer A pillars on the SL are about $250 for a set just for the OEM outer. Then we overlay it in Carbon Fiber. Of course someone who whated to send in their OEM A pillar skins and do that and save on the cost of buying new.
For those who don't know the A pillar skins (next to each side of the outer windshield) are removable, and pretty easy to remove.

The rear window side panels will be popular since the stock pieces are black and like to fade and need replacement anyway.
I'm not sure about the A pillar covers will look right on anything other then a black car...unless the car has a panoramic roof. And even then, the owners would want to paint the C pillars or get carbon covers for the C pillars to complete the look.

You are not kidding, I'm on my 3rd set of C pillar covers. I'll have a set of C pillars ready to go next week.
