I just sent in my deposit and have reserved my spot on next year's grid. I will be shipping the SL55 from Puerto Rico to New York for the start. The route will start in Times Square and end at Hollywood Boulevard. In total it will last 7 days with 5 driving days and 2 days at the Indy 500 (will be sad not to see Dan Wheldon there) so it should be a great test for the car. Will do my best to represent the 3 point star

I have been a fan of the Gumball 3000 for quite a few years now and it has been a fantasy to someday be able to partake. I know some people here don't quite love it and think it's just a bunch of rich, reckless drivers. From what I've been able to learn, out of the 120 cars, there's always a couple of people who consider it a race and drive like madmen and then there's the vast majority who, like me, just want to have a good time driving fun cars and not arrive 1st but not last either.

Less than 2 months to go. Since I've gotten requests from lots of people including forums like GT Spirit to post updates, photos, etc. during the rally, I decided to set up a team Facebook page so that everybody can follow us before, during, and after the rally and we will have a central place to post as opposed to going to several different websites. I have uploaded everything having to do with the rally so far including links to the other teams pages. Hopefully you guys will follow and enjoy it.
