Must admit I like the new Smart Top mod!

I just installed the Smart Top mod and it's fantastic. I love walking to the car while the roof is opening, and it's down before I even get it. Also love closing the top before I actually come to a complete stop. Nice when pulling into the garage or to a restaurant. Nice mod.

Yes it can.

They make them for all SL's and SLK's, Porches, BMW and more. I got it from MODS4CARS.com. It cost about $284 and it's an easy self install located in fuse compartment behing passenger seat. They have pics and video's to help installation. You can also just put windows up or down with the remote too. I forgot to mention that this is all done with the MB origonal remote, no other remotes to carry. It will do a total of about 7 different things that are all programmable by you using a USB cable to the Smart Top unit before you install( or after if you face the unit up so as to get at USB connection.) It's pretty neat. Not sure why MB wouldn't incorporate this into the car from factory.

on my key if I hold the door open sign it opens all my windows and puts the top down, I can let the car roll at Idle and put the top down at the same time. What am I missing here?
