Slight shake when starting the 55 SL . and running cold for 10 min
anyone ever noticed when you start the SL55 the car you feel a very slight bobbling/ shaking of the car for the first 5 minutes before its warm ? you must notice the difference with the smooth engine after the engines warms up. anyone know the reason? should i be concerned?

Mine does the same thing, but I thought it was because of the mods. I don't recall it from the pre mod days.
It seems to make as much noise on a could start as my dad's old 240D, but I have heard this is normal too.

It still freaks the **** out of me each time. I ll tell you why , I owned a 996 Porsche once . Had the piece of **** for only 4 months and always this same shake. One day I was driving off and this smoke comes out of my exhaust like it was a barbecue in my engine. Stopped the car bla bla bla , found out a chilinder was torn !?!
Seemd that little shake did mean something was cooking . Last time I ever buy a Porsche . Cost me a new engine €9000 Euros !!
When I see one in the road now I just want to destroy it
Jags too , same crap , I like only the AMG models , Austin , Bentley and all Italian s ( exception for Maserati , only the Ferrari made Quatroporte ( -updated gear of 06 model- is good and the new GT , the rest is garbage !
I just love this SL55 , it's the best car you could get for this price.
I love this car so much. I've had it for a few weeks now I just look for an excuse to get on the road
