First pull on the dyno for turbo kit

First pull on the dyno, 18-19psi. Perfect for a 91octane daily driver

700 RWHP?! Not bad!
According to my calculations (with moderate 17% drive train loss), that makes 843 HP crank!
Veeery nice job!

1. Is that done to/with a 600 or a 65..?
2. What is exchanged from stock..?
3. How much does it cost, parts & labour..?

I haven't been so succesfull in my attempts communicating with you before, and I don't think I'm only speaking for myself.
Let's see how this turns out.
Hope the questions (above) are not too complicated to answer...

Pretty amazing. Hopefully, the rest of the drive train is going to be beefed up to handle all that power.

This reminds me of an episode of Top Gear where Clarkson drove a Renntech SL that had something like 900hp, and it was just about undrivable in anything but a straight line, and even then it just would spin the wheels and trigger traction control.

Either way.... well done!

Thanks!
It appears the work has been done on a CL65...
No prices ready yet.
And the tranny sure enough got in trouble, as expected.
But a fix for that is on the way, as I understood it.

This is on a CL65, it has intercooler package, trunk tank, turbo/manifold package, fuel injectors, 3 inch down pipes, 3 inch mid section connected to stock mufflers. Heat exchanger, diff and axles are stock, but we did have to build the transmission and add a trans cooler.

We are still working on finalizing the the package, below is another dyno with some more power. The package still needs a little more testing to ensure that everything around it holds up. Still looking at how the motor mounts and torque converter are handling the power along with a couple other things.

So far the package will consist of, intercoolers, heat exchanger, turbos, manifolds, down pipes, new oil/coolant lines and fittings, and a transmission upgrade with trans cooling. Once once we determine that no additional components will be required with the package we will announce pricing with final hp numbers.

Could this, by any chance, instead be the test with the Brabus SV12 with 730hp..?
Because they sound suspiciously alike.
The Old Poodle moaned about that same "problem" there too!
And I can't seem to find any 900hp Renntech-SL on youtube either...
With or without Top Gear's poodle behind the wheel.

Very interesting!
And thanks for the quick answer!

In my case it would have to be a price for parts alone btw, if that's possible.
Because shipping engine & tranny to the US and back will be to expensive, I guess...
But a price with labour is still interesting, since I will compare that here with the guys that will install it.
Already have made my mind up who they will be.

Thanks for now, and I can't wait to see the follow up on this one...

Hopefully weather here holds up for another week or so. Planning on going to dyno again in couple days. Data logging equipment was starting to act up last time there, so getting that fixed and back on the dyno if we don't get snowed in.

This had to be what he was talking about, the traction control kept coming on every time he hit the gas.

Talked w/Marcin today Upgraded Turbo kits are coming soon I'm 1st on the list for the gt3582r's should make North of 800+ rwhp easily on 91 octane @20 psi I'm Shooting for 1st 1001+ rwp on ms109 & 28-30 psi..

More important than peak HP or TQ, look @ the graphs above the power is made consistantly thru ENTIRE RPM band Table-Top flat!! This will be something none of us have seen before on ANY MB model...

Yup! It was that Brabus car. If I remember correctly it was virtually impossible NOT to get the wheels spinning..... at virtually any speed. If I remember right, even the Stig couldn't hustle it around the track very quickly.

The poodle at Top Gear is a real jerk!
You can't believe a word that clown is saying!
Just watch the old S65 test drive he did... What an IDIOT.
He there states that it's IMPOSSIBLE to get the car off the line when full throttle!
WHAT IS THAT??!
It is there VEEERY OBVIOUS that the idiot hits the brakes at the same time as he floors it..!

He belongs in a program for children somewhere, charing his tips and advises!
Not in a potential serious car info program!
It's sad to see how the hosts at Top Gear whith all the nice cars & great opportunities they sometimes have on, just pisses it awaaaay...!
Pretty shame!
