SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: After market warranty

After market warranty
I am looking to purchase a SL55amg, but want to purchase a warranty to cover the supercharger and other things. Any suggestions on reputable and reasonable warranty company?

Easy Care....check them out on the net...MB dealers honor their warranty...and also most good independent shops

If you email me the VIN# and odometer reading, I can get you an excellent warranty at a very good price, with full coverage. Dozens of people here on MB World have it and everyone is very happy.
As abiazis says, EasyCare is good too. But they can get very expensive for full coverage depending on the car, year, and mileage.
I can also get you an SL55 if you have not found one yet, carefully selected and inspected, for 5% over my cost. I've done that a lot for MB World members too and can provide tons of references.

There is a lot of discussion on this forum regarding after market warranties. Do a search and read, I have a Chrysler warranty, 5 yrs/50.000 miles with $200 deductable. Used it once for an air pump and trunk shocks for 1k and Mercedes dealer had no problems. Warrany cost me around $2400 but I think its higher now. Whichever warranty you choose, just get one.

WOW! I just called Easy Care Extended warranty and for my 05 with 23k they wanted $7100 for the warranty that would cover the abc, top etc. That was for 48 months and $250 deductable! Is that the best that's out there now??

Guys - do a search, Bruce knows what he is talking about.
There are very few choices out there anymore for a decent warranty on a used sports car. Most companies have raised their rates sky high or have left the market. A decent deal two years ago does not exist any longer.
I went with Bruce for a warranty on my 2004 SL55. Haven't had to use it yet but it seemed to be one of the few good options left. I'd also mention Bruce is very easy to deal with and made the process simple. He answered all my questions and has a good rep on this board and as well as others.

+1. I purchased a warranty for both my C55 and E63 through Bruce last month. Havn't had to make a claim yet, but my dealer is good with the company, and Bruce was easy to do business with.

I usually do plenty of searching before asking questions, so I'll admit I am guilty of not doing so on this question, but I subscribed to this thread, and it is currently active.
In regards to buying a warranty...I would assume that this is this something that is inquired about before actually buying.
Not necessarily about price, but the possibility of coverage.

+1 on Bruce. I bought my05 S600 from him as well as an aftermarket warranty. Couldn't be happier. He continues to answer questions for me a year & a half after purchase.Awesome customer service and Mercedes specific knowledge.

I assume that you don't have any warranty options for Ferrari, Lambo, or Aston Martin correct?
Are the AMG cars and V12 cars pretty much the most exotic cars you can get covered?
What about Porsche?
