Thank you! I got the grille from 55tech on ebay. Had to modify bumper to make it fit but fits perfectly now. Distronic cruise control works perfectly as well. I paid $150 for it. The grille will fit 03-06 models with no problems. 07-08 guys will need to modify bumper.

what's the price difference between the 2008 and the 2009 SL65? I don't think it's very much, how come you didn't go for the facelift?

I can't speak for the OP, but I believe the rounder face is more MB than the face lifted one and will age much better in time
