When the SL65 takes off there is a nice comment from the BMW driver. He says "fy fan" which means "what the ****"...

LOL.

The M6 has pretty pathetic torque for a 5.0 V10 (380lbs/ft). That SL65 probably has over twice that!

I knew it would be no contest, but I didn't expect such a dramatic difference.

They are both stock but the BMW driver says "it must be tuned".

I'm surprised the M6 took that much of a spanking from a roll. My prior car was an M5 (same motor as M6) and I hadn't perceived that much of a difference between the SL & M5 at highway speeds. From a dig the SL has an even larger advantage.

Hopefully we can see that in a future event from Gustav! From this event the SL65 BS was running against the new TT M5. I dont know the result. Maybe we will see that movie soon.

Gustav is NOT a clown. He's an auto enthusiast just like we all are. He produces some of the best videos and publishes & disseminates news.

Had an M6, too.....I don't notice a huge difference between my 55 and the M6 in terms of torque even though the numbers are huge.....516 for the SL versus I think low 300's for the M6.

Same here. I had one of the first e60 m5 cars on the east coast. Dense gearing and 8250 red line sure made the v10 cars very fast from a roll.
