Lowering module for a 03 makes a world of difference .......
Yesterday I finally took the time to install my lowering module which I bought last year ........ it took a good hour and then some and I must say I'm most pleased with the result here a pic. before and after ......

It looks great! Have you set up the speed controls that adjust height back to normal based on MPH/KPH? I have my ELM dropped pretty good and then set to go back to 1/2 normal height at 15 MPH and full normal at 25 MPH. I can't tell if it is actually working though.

Hi Cal
I don't have the opportunity to do any programming with this module - it's lowered 35 mm. and goes back to "normal" when over 50 km. - and like you I have no way of telling if it actually does it.
But fairly I think it does the job since it's so lower now that I hear I hit things I didn't hit before the lowering ... and if the car didn't raise itself over 50 km. I will have gotten some more hits from some of the lousy roads I have been forced to drive on ....... ... hits sounds a bit violently but you know what I mean and I do use the original raising much more now than before - Do you have any issuses after lowering?
Had to change tires in hurry and was forced to do some "cannibalism" on my other SL - took the tires and rims from it ..... Incenio but not for the AMG .... have to do for this season...... not that bad I think .......

Very nice! I just love the R230 in white for some reason.

update, since lowering it that much I have brought it up a good amount, the ride at that low sucked and any slouch of a driveway I was scraping my cf lip, brought it up 1 inch all around, basically i have a 1 finger gap between the top of tire and bottom of the fender all the way around and plan to keep it here, no more dicking around

mmmmm .... yes lowering makes these car look very nice but not very piratical and as I use my car as a evry-day-car, then I will not go any lower .... just very curious how it will look with my new SL65 rims ...... they are 19 inch and the one I got on now is 18 inch - will have to do some calculation for the tires .......
Also; I don't get "bumb" in wheelhouse - I get bumped underneath Cal; whats your wheels?
I know that is possible to buy a original steel cover for the motor underneath for my SL600 (35 kg. !!!) maybe this also can be bought for the SL55 ... it protects the pan ......
Last thing; I notice when I raise my car now with the original button then it's not so high as it use to be before the installment of the lowering module - there missing 35 mm. ..... exactly the measurement of the lowering

I still have the stock 18s. I bend rims so bad up here in the birthplace of the pot hole that I am afraid to go bigger. I love the 19 inch SL65 wheels and think they would look great on my Pewter car. I think you will get some rubbing with 19s and will have to raise your car a bit.

Your car looks great Cal - love the color and the contrast to the windows - have you tinted them or is it just the way the sun shines?

^ the car is tinted, but the angle and the light exaggerate the darkness a little. I think it is 30% tint if I remember right. The shot below shows the tint more accurately.

I was afraid of that ...... since my lowering module dont give me the chance of adjusment - is 35 mm lower or nothing - maybe I was to quick to buy this .... will check it out my new rims later this year.

O.K. How do you get your lovely white Greyhound to pose so perfectly next to that tree for every shot????

^ I find the white ceramic ones to be the best behaved.
My other three (ex racers) pretty much do as they wish. By the way, who is that in your avatar? Maybe a Min-Pin?
