putting in about 10 hours a day on it and not scheduling any work till it is done or it will take forever!!
hoping next week. ordered my last round of parts today i think i need to totally wrap it up. i still have most all weatherstripping to do, finish running my dual wb's and boost gauge, reweld on the resonators, make exhaust tips, drop trans pan and swap out for the blue top solenoids (if car doesn't have them), finish wrapping up trunk, finish installing and aligning all front body panels and hood and side skirts, modifying inner wheel wells to work with misha kit, install all the grill material........................................ph uc it, lots more!!

got some custom long tube headers now with dual 3" going into a 6"x3" oval pipe through center of car, then exits to 2-3" then only the stock resonators used for mufflers. no cats or anything else. it is actually quiet at idle, but that changes when throttle on, haha.

well, the project for today. believe it or not both headlights were fully assembled and the stock chrome at 11am this morn. it is now 9pm and they have been pulled apart, painted black, projectors installed on high beams, error free led bulb in high beam for when driving lights are on, and led drl's installed, drl's wired to car with a mode selecting controller. can adjust brightness, strobe, heart beat, and quite a few other things. baking the enamel in the oven for 30 mins at 170 degrees allowed for the ability to handle and install within an hour of painting.
i did satin black on everything, then gloss black on the bezels only. the drl's are just a simple self adhesive 12" strip. i placed them in the position i did so you couldn't directly tell it was just an led strip, and that they reflect down and give the appearance there are about 50 led's due to reflection. it gave a pretty cool look, and to me, look like it could have been something stock. i am happy with the look.
this is quickly turning into a show car, so they fit right in. i also could not help myself and got a set of the mercedes door led's that shine the star and "mercedes benz" onto the ground when you open the door. it is simply wired to the door panel light and fit right in one of the door plugs under door. little goofy, but it adds a little something, haha.

Therefore I send this pictures to you ... because you can see directly have much work I have done on it.... and I can see how much work you have done at your bike... . Only the frame and tank is OEM. Everything else is modified... the third engine... two of them have "exploded" .
I'm never gone sell it... never..

i called the dealer and looks like you can no longer purchase just the covers. they have been redesigned (i'm sure to be easier to remove!) and have to buy all 4 pieces. retail $600+, but he quoted my about $350. not worth it when i am just going to wrap them anyways.

Looking awesome. I like the tri-star light too and those headlights have a bit of a menacing look that will match the personality of the car. Maybe Snarling Smurf would be an appropriate name. That bad boy will no doubt snarl when you tap the throttle given your exhaust set up.

it has a touch of the slr sound. the resonators take out the highs and leave just the lows. again, till you mash it, then it just sounds wicked! definately quiter than my viper was though, and quieter than any ferrari or lambo so it may be just perfect for what it is. i may add in a couple straight resonators though in the future to give it just a touch lower tone.
