SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Attention caused by your SL55 or SL65.

the viper got more attention on the road, but still get lots of questions at the pump. i didn't even know how fast these things were till less than a week before buying mine! once i saw they had 493hp stock i immediately looked into aftermarket parts and costs. once i saw what could be done, and all the options the car had and a drop top, i didn't have a prob trading viper for it. viper was awesome to look at and a great piece of american automotive history, but i don't miss sweating my nuts off while driving it!! lol
my sl55 as of this afternoon is faster than the viper was!! WAAAYY more refined and fun to drive imo. if i get another viper, it will be a little bit newer one.

MBWorld Fanatic!
When I bought my SL63 it attracted loads of attention, when you started it,
it shouted look at me. My SL 55 did not get many comments, still the more I look at my 65 the more I love it.

I have a 2003 SL500 with only 15,000 miles on it. I'm thinking I would love to trade up to an SL65 with the V-12 engine. It's a weekend fun to drive vehicle.
Questions if anyone knows off the top of their head.
Cost differential between the two for 2003 model.
Am I crazy to trade since I have low miles on my current car?
FYI: Just bought the wife a BMW 640GC and while it's luxurious, the SL is the one that I always end up wanting to drive fast and after 10 years, it still puts a huge grin on my face every time.
Thanks for your thoughts.
