--Real carbon fiber interior trim pieces-- group buy possibility
So I know a lot of people like the cf interior trim look and I was talkin to a friend that does professional jobs...anyways I asked around and a vender here does it for $1500 for the full interior cf..
Anyways if we can get 10 people he will do it $800 each and if we get 15 people probably $700
Let me know what you guys think... I know this is the SL crew but just thought maybe some of you guys here would be interested as well

Most likely for sure.. if someone can email me all the pieces of the sl or any other car other than a w211 witch I know cuz I drive one and know the pieces.. so pm me like I said and ill take care of you guys...

Not to take away from this buy , but I like oem stuff and was looking for carbon fiber trim.
I would like to know if someone could show me O.E.M. versus this aftermarket trim cover.
Maybe a picture of the same peice of trim O.E.M and yours.

I buy wooden set on eBay (think I got 7 or 8 sets by now 
) and then I met some guys who makes some carbon stuff for Harley Davidson ... looked nice - and I had them wrap one of my wooden trim with real carbon .....
Also - I have OEM carbon trim ...... the sizes of the OEM carbon fiber are a bit bigger then then one I have got wrapped ... they say it was due to the sharp curves for the center trim etc. they had to go down in size. Ells - compared to the OEM it's not easy to see the difference ... especial the trim for the door are top quality .... I'm not that pleased with the center trim thou .... don't think it's shiny enough .... but I guess I have to wait and see when it's installed ... also .... it's a thing thats gonna be used .... and the price is very nice compared to the OEM carbon.
So my conclusion is that if you don't walk in money this much cheaper option is the way to go.

5 people i'll get them done for $540
10 people for $510
15 people for $480
this is for all 6 pieces, if you want the gauges as well you will add $250 on top
this is ALL real carbonFiber top of the line like OEM

2009 SL63 - interested. Can someone confirm the SL55 and SL63 have the same trim pieces? Also assuming my existing trim pieces won't be required as cores?

Just found this thread and like the idea of a group buy. I have already collected three out of four pieces, I just lack a left door trim to have a complete core set to send in. A couple of questions. The pictures at the beginning of the thread are not showing up. Can you restore them? And what would the expected turn-around time be?

A week or two max... yes he csn do the knob too for an extra free but not sure how much more... I need 5-10 people to get the ball rolling weather cls amg or w211 amg or sl amg
