RAWAMG build is on!
Phase I
I am working with Steve @ FTP here in Ohio for my first round of mods:
82mm T/B ported, oil air separator (catch can), phenolic spacers, looped fuel rail, 550cc injectors, colder plugs, Auxiliary H/E, CM30, belt wrap kit, huge cold air intake system, mars red coated surge tanks & valve covers with stainless bolts, high temp black ceramic coated supercharger.

Thanks Jake... I already have EC 180mm pulley with EC ECU/TCU tunes 
I am also working with Jerry (smaller S/C pulley) and Shardul (168mm pulley re-build) for a stacked set up!

sweet! glad to see more action going in the sl side of the forum! looking good so far. pics of intake when in. i have been thinking of doing such a thing. time is my enemy!

again, thats why we need more of these build threads going here. so there is more info people can research in the future. thats why i am trying to pack mine with many links and pics. so some won't have to search as hard as i have for good deals on parts! lol.

Looks very nice and interesting ... I will be following you since I'm heading down that road too ....... those colder sparks .... any more info on them will be appreciated.
..... and this is good ..... will have to hear more of this ......
I vote for that - and I even don't have a DAS yet ! was thinking of starting a thread - more for which one to chose since it's a jungle .....???
Time will tell BUT I wasn't sure about the cold air intake system until I heard it in action & then saw it up close a personal in Steve's E55.... All I can say is I was sold!!!! I went to his shop last night to drop off the stainless bolts (I pedal fasteners for a living) for the tanks & covers & the parts for the intake just got back from being polished - SWEEEEEEEET!!!
I vote for that - and I even don't have a DAS yet ! was thinking of starting a thread - more for which one to chose since it's a jungle .....???

Plugs - Yes colder - NGK LFR7AIX
Intake - trust me this is a must have
DAS - Talk to Shardul - I got mine elsewhere & have no regrets BUT he will hook you up

Dunno... taking it slow since I really only drive her on nice dry days 
I am in Ohio & yes it was like 10d last week & 65d today but with all the salt they put down when we get even the hint of snow I am in NO HURRY... BUT that doesn't mean I don't want her ready for me when it is time & I am already looking at cams, lsd, stqc, evo brakes... etc.

I know that this might not be as exciting as OZ's build but it is exciting to me & I thought I would share

82mm T/B ported, oil air separator, phenolic spacers, looped fuel rail, 550cc injectors, colder plugs, secondary dual pass H/E, CM30, belt wrap kit, huge cold air intake system, Kleemann headers w/200 cell cats, cat & res delete, mars red coated surge tanks & valve covers with stainless bolts, high temp black ceramic coated supercharger. All topped off with a special "Jerry tune"
I am working with Steve @ FTP here in Ohio & basically doing a stage three+

Just a note - stainless steel is not always the best choice - mixing steel could give some unpleasant surprises ....... but I think theres two stainless steel bolts in the little valve cover so they might work together whiteout problems. Is it some kind of magnesium - the block where the bolts go down in?
hmmmm anywhere I can find some reading material about cold air intake systems?

Just a note - stainless steel is not always the best choice - mixing steel could give some unpleasant surprises ....... but I think theres two stainless steel bolts in the little valve cover so they might work together whiteout problems. Is it some kind of magnesium - the block where the bolts go down in?

i can't say i have ever seen galvanic reaction between s.s. and alum. but, it is a good idea to use a little antiseize on just a zinc coated or raw steel to alum. it really all depends on the bolt use. some valve cover bolts is something to not worry about.

... but those this generate cold air to supercharger? won't the aluminum get heated-up in the engine bay? maybe heat protection will be a good idea?I have been looking into a great deal about cold air for the supercharger - as OZ said it needs the air to be as cold as possible; that will say heat is the enemy.
So; first thought was to get the supercharger coated with heat protection - but the company voted against this idea since this heat protection does keep heat away but also keep heat "inside" which mean that the heat the supercharger itself generates will be lock-in ... it have to go somewhere .......
Now I''m thinking more like heat shields ..... think there should be room for a shield between the supercharger and the the top of the engine - lots of good stuff to be found here: http://www.heatshieldproducts.com/news/9 also heatprotec. for the tubes from the air pump would do.
also working on another project with suppling cold air but this is in the future .....
