Brake Rotors
Anyone know where to get a better deal on multi-piece floating rotors like the Evosport ones? I want to do this upgrade but I just can't believe that there isn't a better priced deal out there?
I am also looking for some good feedback on these rotors (or others like them) I know that Ronnie recently did this upgrade but he hasn't done any hard braking & he hasn't had them that long so I am wondering about not only performance but longevity...

I'll be honest, I have the Evosport Rotors on my SL55, drilled and slotted.
I loved them actually when i first got them, felt a difference with the braking. But after two years of NORMAL usage, all four of my disks are cracked. Im currently getting myself some Brembos instead using the same brake calipers.
Took the SL on the track did some hard braking (just a few turns and thats it), next day my pads had finished and there were actually new ones. I'd recommend you go for stoptech or brembo.

That is what I want to do is keep my AMG calipers & upgrade the rotors only. I contacted Stoptech about a month ago & they said that they didn't offer this solution & then they referred me to Evosport (I wonder if they are actually making the Evosport ones).
I was actually wondering if Brembo offered this solution since I think they are actually the manufacture of the AMG calipers... right? could you please PM the details on the Brembo's that you are getting?

I was looking into the evosport brakes but I'm glad I didn't if they are shot after 2 years of normal driving. If you find a good replacement rotor, I'd be interested to know the details
