Advice on Spacers SL55 2004
I have a 2004 SL55 with 19"x 8.5 front ET 35, and Rear 19"x 9.5 ET35.
Tires are 255/35/19 front and 285/30/19 rear... I have not lowered the car yet, but will lower it 1"to 1.5". My question is , I want to use spacers to bring the wheels out farther. Does anyone have any idea on what size spacers I need front and rear. thx

Thats hard to answer because only you know how much you would like it to be pushed out, what I would do is get a bubble level and stand it vertically to the fender, then get a tape measure and measure the distance from bubble level to your wheel. Not exact to the mm but you will be darn close.

you should be able to go 10mm,
thats common on stock wheels. its the most common spacer, bolts to buy. You have to have hub centric spacers, look on ebay for all the parts

Whats the general consensus about Spacers? I've never really ran them as I've had a wide enough rim, but seen the newer 1 piece wheels that look nice but only 10" and need that extra width...any problems running on this car or an AMG with amount of torque?

I've seen them work on 600-700 hp 55's.
