Looking for RED SL55 or AMG floor mats OEM

I have a part number Q-6-68-0532 but not sure if that is correct for the color red. If anyone has the oem floor mats in red, can I get the part #?
Thanks.

Thanks.

I just got a pair of the sl55 mats in Berry red from oediscount . The part number for the set I got was Q-6-68-0571 . My 2003 has the snaps built in, but the mats with the female part of the snap were not to be found ... so I got these ($56.25 for the pair shipped !) and then I bought 2 sets of the mat-side of the snaps for $6.75 as set (only available in black).

Just for grins, I just googled the part number I bought and found this cool list of mercedes mats that includes (on page 10) all of the different part numbers for the sl55 mats (with snaps .... or the snapless "clip" style that I got).

http://www.w-124.info/w124/Mercedes_floor_mats.pdf

However, while I was waiting for the snaps, I found some NOS sl55/sl65 mats in black on ebay and I found that I like those better in my otherwise all-berry red interior. Ebay seller had a nice selection of NOS mats so i bought sets for a couple of my AMG's.

here is a link to one of the this seller's auctions http://www.ebay.com/itm/0598-Mercede...868a5a&vxp=mtr

The berry red mats from the dealer network were almost gone when I got mine so you better act fast if you want the berry. If yo miss them, there is a chance I may let my new set go as I like the black so much I never took the red ones out of the box.

Cheers,
Chris

Please forgive the poor quality pics (and debris on the driver's mat). Feeling sometimes like there is too much berry, I like the balance that the black mats (and black trim) add. These mats came from the ebay seller I mentioned above and are NOS. They are stitched "AMG" (intended for both SL55 AND SL65 it would seem). They did come with the female part of the snap (receiver) installed. I cant find the paperwork that came with them (and don't recall if a MBZ part number was ever associated with them relative to this purchase), but going by the chart I linked to (above), I would guess they are Q-6-68-0597. Keep in mind that MBZ has a confusing way of referring to the "clip" style. They list the style that I have here, "snap clips" which are the desirable plastic snap (that are mounted THRU 2 holes in each matt) ... AND they list "mat clip" which I believe relies on some grippy-clip (like a mini bear trap ... suspender clips?) this second style comes WITHOUT thru holes and is the style that came in my sl55 when I bought it (and the style I got from oediscountparts under the part number in my last post)(minus the actual "mat clips" in both cases). I am under the impression that this second style can be converted to the first using the plastic snaps available separately (from the mats) under part number Q-6-68-0520 (which is 2 snaps, enough for 1 mat). I could not find these snaps in berry, so this part number is for charcoal. Worth mentioning, the use of these plastic snaps requires the corresponding "posts" (also plastic) already be in your cars carpet or be installed ... part number available (my car had these posts despite not having the mats that require them when I got it) .

hope that helps,
Chris

Latemodel21, I know it has been a couple of years since this post, but are those berry red mats you bought still for sale? I'd like to buy them from you if I could. I have scoured the Internet, and can't find them anywhere. OEDiscount has discontinued them, and while I like the black mat contrast with the berry red carpeting,, I like the original red mats more. I own at 2003 SL55 with 37,000 original miles on it, and it has been garaged since new. It has never been to a car wash... only washed by hand, and the paint shows it. I look forward to hearing back from you.

I still have them (still in the sealed bag from Mercedes). Having a hard time deciding if I want to hang on to them as I may want them someday (since I'll never find another new set) ... it's crossed my mind a time or two to put them on ebay (when I see berry SL55 mats listed for $600 or more). there is a set right now for $775 (yikes !) in this guys store http://stores.ebay.com/murad-motors/..._sid=816633861 and the are not even the AMG mats ... I would think you could have them made for less ...

If you want to send me a PM with an offer you may be able to interest me in selling (now or sometime down the road).

Cheers,
Chris

Thank you! The mats being offered on eBay that you referenced are standard Mercedes SL mats with the Mercedes-Benz star and logo, not the AMG mats, and good luck to the Seller at $775. Like you, I have decided to try a contrasting color. I bought the mats on eBay from another vendor in charcoal gray, and they feature the real AMG logo. I'm sure they will look great, but I would much prefer the Berry Red mats with the AMG logo like the set that were in my car hen it was new. Oh, well... thanks to everyone on this thread for their help and advice.
