SL55/63/65/R230 AMG tires for my '09 sl63

tires for my '09 sl63

michelin no longer makes the oem rear tires for my '09 sl63
i need a single rear tire to replace one with side wall damage.
the oem is a michelin ps2 285/30ZR19.
any suggestion on how to find a replacement?

2011 E550, 2008 SL55 AMG

Have you checked with a local Mercedes-Benz dealer? They might still have a few in a warehouse somewhere. Failing that, there's probably no way to safely replace just one tire. Sucks, but there it is.

At this point, unless your rear wheels are 10" wide, Michelin doesn't have a solution for R230 AMG SLs with 19" rims. I've been looking for tires for my 2008 SL55 and am not thrilled with the options I've found so far.

My 2008 SL63 came with Pirelli P Zero, these were designed for the car and
have an extra inner wall to stop it wiggle when accelerating.

thank you for that info. i will for sure be getting pirelli's when my michelins wear out.

those (and all the other new michelin ps2 tires available on ebay and elsewhere) are "285/30 ZP 19" tires.
mine were "285/30 ZR 19".
the ZP designates zero pressure (run flat).
michelin sells these ZP pilot sport 2's as a replacement for the older non-run flats.
