SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: 2013 SL63 dyno
I had my '73 Trans Am on a Dynojet after a motor rebuild and put down 375 to the wheels, which would be about 450 crank hp. I can attest to the fact that the build in that car - which is a very well documented and tested 455 combination - is good for 390 hp on an engine stand. It really should have been in the 325 range at the rear wheels.
Dynos are great for establishing AF ratios at load and for setting numbers as a baseline for future tuning comparison. (On the same Dyno, of course) But no doubt, your car is a beast!
