Renntech Toe links w or w/o Adjustable Cambers?

So on my search for looking into ways make the rear more stable I ran into a few problems.

MB Arts: No Longer Exists

K-MAC: Some people argue that the cambers come undone when dealing with a lot of power and they tend to squeak

Evosport: No Longer Exists but CKS Performance that sold my spare 1/16 UL Carlsson rim in UK has a pair of Evosport, but I figure why buy a product when the company doesn't exist.

So I'm left with the only option which is Renntech. Price seems a little high but hey what can you do when no one else makes them, if 1250 can fix the wiggle from all the power the 65s push out then its worth it.

Only question now is do I buy the adjustable cambers?

Renntech charges 1100 but I feel that that money would be better spent on tires

K-MAC I would love to hear any feed back on these cambers, and if anyone has used Evosport/Renntech Toe Links with K-MAC cambers and if it's worth the investment

A performance shop should really look into making toe links so we R230 owners aren't stuck with Renntech as our only option lol

Looks like nobody replied to this. I just completed a build for my 04 e55
they replace part # 2303500429. Im in it only like 450 and now could bet that i could save 100 on some non custom aluminum or chrome moly rods. the heims are top of the line quality with teflon/kevlar self lubricating parts. I looked it up and it should be the same rod as yours, but not sure if you have the space like I did between the mount and the exhaust.
here is my original post with pics

I am very surprised no one else makes these..

Then again, the svt community probably has a lot more diy fabrication on the forums.

Shardul came out with toelinks/camber kit for the SL/E/CLS a few months ago both, for 800 bucks, and he just finished developing a kit for the S/CL recently

From what ppl wrote on the E fourms, they seem to love it, the E/CLS works with the SL chassis as well. and for $800 for a toelink and adjustable camber kit that's pretty good bang for buck, toelinks alone from evosport/renntech were $1300 and a camber kit from Renntech was $1100, paying so its either pay Renntech $2400 for the kit or UPD $800 for their kit

^ agreed! I have been watching these and plan to purchase a set come spring time when I need tires and an alignment anyway. I seem to recall reading that the install is much easier on the ABC cars than the Airmatic cars as well.

Shardul has always taken good care of me. We had one transaction go a bit to shiste for both of us. It wasn't Shardul's fault, it wasn't mine. If we could blame anyone, it would have been my installer, but mostly, it was just one of those "chit happens mang" type deals. Shardul went above and beyond. I recognized he had done nothing wrong, but he still wanted to eat some cost just for me the customer. I said "no way dude, you did nothing wrong". He insisted and still wanted to make it right for me even though he did nothing wrong. We aren't talking major bucks here, mostly express shipping costs, but the fact that Shardul was willing to do whatever just so I was a happy customer was worth big bucks to me.

Are you contemplating the smaller SC pulley? If so, check this link out:

https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...er-pulley.html

I am buying a scattershield and I run a stock SC pulley with a 178 counter. Seems like cheap insurance to me.

“PRETTY GOOD BANG FOR BUCK !!”

WITH OEM – THERE IS ONLY FRONT AND REAR TOE ADJUSTMENT

....So it’s all about Price, Quality, Fitment (and ending frustration of numerous trips to dealers and alignment shops or constantly changing tire brands).

Do point out with K-MAC it is $480 for Rear Camber and (extra) Toe adjuster kit. $480 Front Camber and Caster kit. The lowest pricing - yet biggest bush adjustment range!

These prices also include bush extraction/insertion tools.

Rear Camber is installed on car. No need for arm removal or interference if airmatic suspension.

K-MAC is the longest established manufacturer of front and rear Camber, Caster, Toe adjuster kits with World’s largest range – Audi to Volvo.

First company to design/develop front and rear kits to suit Mercedes vehicles with range now covering virtually every model 1967 to 2015!

Allowing precise/ongoing adjustment capability (K-MAC patented concept – easily accessible “single wrench” on alignment rack – accurately under load).

Returning vehicle to exact factory specs to correctly resolve steering pull, costly premature inner edge tire wear. The result of altering suspension height, fitting wide profile tires/wheels, load carrying or curb knock damage.

Only with K-MAC the statement “Full Front and Rear Wheel Alignment” means what it says.

Added bonus is the 4 front and 4 rear bushings replace the highest wearing bushes and with twice the load bearing area.

Also front bushings are still 2 axis/self aligning, allowing suspension arms to travel through their required arcs without binding/locking up. Similar to OEM but without the use of fluid and air voids. Result is also noticeably improved brake and steering response along with full/precise adjustability for the first time of both Camber and Caster settings.

K-MAC rear kits (Camber with extra Toe adjustment) – we do not manufacture upper Camber arms/links as these reduce all important clearance top of tire to outer fender when adjusting to reduce inner edge tire wear. Or heime joint connectors – as anyone in the race industry will point out, it is not long before the thin wall Teflon liner pounds out allowing inevitable squeaking through metal to metal contact which is always the result (or caused by a loose bolt connection).

Instead with 51 years now of bush design development our “elastomer” bushings (and locking systems) are constantly proven on the race track.

All out 10/10th’s competition racing – big heavy V8’s developing maximum horsepower down main straight – then hitting race curbs and becoming airborne – then slamming down lap after lap. It’s no wonder that on evaluation, we have situations where race driver and spectator safety scrutineers stipulate that only K-MAC brand bushings are allowed to be fitted!
