Mercedes SL63 AMG on HRE P101 with Weistec Stage 2 Supercharger and Brembo Brakes
Guys, we just wrapped up this insane project. A great customer of ours came to us with his SL63 AMG, and we started out with a Weistec Stage 2 Supercharger. Then we couldn't do the project properly without a new fresh set of wheels, so we upgraded his with a set of 19 inch HRE P101 in brushed clear. Now we moved onto the brakes, and we went with a set of Brembo brakes to complete out the project. Hands down, one of the sickest SL's we have seen in some time. What do you guys think about this project build?

The drop and the 19's make the car look PERFECT.
20's a re a little too big for the R230 Chassis.
And the Weistec SC is the cherry on the cake. That is a hell of a tastefully modded SL.
For once I have nothing to criticize...except maybe the orange reflector...

Ditto to the orange reflector - easy fix.
Kind of wondering why someone would put a Brembo on an AMG - AMG brakes can handle anything that the street OR track can throw at them (ok, maybe not an endurance-type session on track), so why waste the money?

Great looking SL. You turned it into a supercar killer ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I much prefer the R230 than the latest iteration.
Throw some carbon fiber on this puppy to finish it off.
X63 on getting rid of the orange markers.

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
Looks great...
but have to disagree, just lacks that little bit of edge that the 20's provide. Still a winner.

As was I for the same reason. The car looks great but instead of the brakes I might have continued on to something like headers and exhaust mods. The wheels are very nice and would have been great with the stock Brembo done for AMG brakes.
