2007-2008 SL55 Front Brake Rotor specs?

What in the world is so special about these? Where can I find the specs for a non P-030 car? I am having no luck finding an after market option. Seems to be plenty of options for 2006 and older.

Here is a good source for what seems to be OE parts: http://www.mymercedesparts.com/
No specifications, but seem to be good prices.

In the Porsche 928 community, there are MANY of us who have used Zimmerman brake rotors as a lower cost 'aftermarket' option for our brake rotors (pretty sure they were the OE mfg for Porsche in the '90s era when my car was built). They provide excellent longevity and are well manufactured. They are the only non-OE brand most of us will use (I used them on both my street and my track cars for the past 15 years).

I suggest you find a Zimmerman web site and check out the part number for the '07-08 rotors. (I just purchased a set of four for my '03 SL55 and will be installing them next week).

I have a friend who is a very respected and successful 'parts' supplier for Porsche, BMW, MB, Corvette etc. owners around the world - located in the Dallas TX area. I'm confident he can get you the correct Zimmerman rotors, and his prices are always better than dealers or even big aftermarket suppliers. Great guy, you can tell him I recommended you if you contact him. Use telephone or e-mail, his web site is: www.928sRus.com His first name is Roger, use the phone for fastest service.

That is what I saw also, until I went to go and order. Then I find that they are rears or fronts for 2006 and older SL55's.

Thanks Gary, I would be happy with Zimmermans and I will send him an email.

I've ordered many parts from them. Great prices, great service and all Mercedes parts in factory sealed Mercedes boxes.

Two piece rotors. Given dealership prices, probably made of unobtnium. I've found a couple third party solutions but the cost is about the same as a dealer would charge. The mymercedesparts price is the best I've seen and about $450 less than dealer pricing.

I thought you said for a 03, if its a 2 pc rotor they are all going to be expensive so the one at mymercedes, or ebay will all be hi.
try allmercedes or autohausaz or ecklers

If you get the part # off yours it will be alot easier

OK, I think I found a one piece replacement. Does anyone have an old one laying around? I need the hub hole diameter and the height. The height can be measured by laying the disc flat and measuring the height of the hat from the table top.
