Lug bolts for aftermarket wheels?

I'm looking for some lug bolts for a set of aftermarket wheels that I just bought.

From what I gather, the correct thread pitch is 14 x 1.50 and the tuner/cone style is needed in comparison to the acorn style that is used on the stock wheels. I'm just unsure of what length the bolts need to be?

I tried going to the McGard and Gorilla websites but can't find any part numbers in their application guides. Can someone please recommend a set of locking or regular black or chrome lug bolts that will fit my 09 SL63 with aftermarket wheels?

my aftermarket "niche verona m150s" require the factory style ball/acorn seating. most other aftermarket wheels do require a cone seat. the 14x1.5 is correct. i bought black studs that was 14x1.5x33mm and they was actually about a 1/16th too long on the rear, so i had to grind them down (was slightly bumping e-brake on rear hubs). front i did not have any issues with. some wheels are thicker, so a longer stud will be needed.

just make sure your wheel manufacturer does require that the studs are cone seating.

here is the ebay i link i got mine from, he might have longer lengths if you need it...

Thanks for the quick reply Chad.

I'm actually getting the Niche M154 wheels but they're not due in until April 5th. They should require the same size bolts as your wheels.

I would have thought for sure that they would have taken the tuner/cone bolts but I'm glad you chimed in to let me know that they don't.

What would the ideal length be without having to grind anything down?

Tire Rack is a great source. I needed some for OZ wheels, and they confirmed the size before shipping them.

id say about a 29 to 31mm should be fine for the rear. front, it will not matter. double check with niche, but im almost 100% sure all the "sport" line of wheels, require a ball seating, just like our factory MB are. (which are 28mm in length)

Porsche guy who drives SL63 w/ perf pkg AND perf suspension
you have to know for sure if they are cone or ball seat, ask the dealer what they are. The stock bolt is 30mm that doesnt mean the wheels are the same, ask the dealer(if)they know for sure
you can find every kind of bolt on ebay

The best lugs - by far - are from TiKore. Titanium and machined to spec.
