SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Bye Bye 63 hello 65
a year I have only had some fun with a 911 which I despatched with ease.
So I have had a set of 20 inch Mandrus split rims which I bought for my
last 65. At a shopping mall I saw a black SL55 230 with 20 inch rims, it looked fantastic, lower as well. I am looking at a late 2004 to 2007 SL65, I know about the paddles. it has 30k miles. What other changes might there
be, eventually I will put a Black Ed kit on it.
This is what I call fun, I can't do too much to the 63 in case it lowers part ex
price.
Can you take the secondary resonator out of the exhaust to give the exhaust
some more burble.

guys I like to play around with a car instead of buying something you
dare not touch in case you loose money or cannot sell it.
The 65 will give me days to look forward to, with a re map, body styling,
wheels, and more.. and of course I will be putting on square tips to gain
my extra 50 bhp...

65 paid and no dept or repayments to worry about. Can't wait to put
my wheels on and have general tweaks.
I will put pics up when I get it.
Anybody heard of VAD for wide body kits.
PS you are if anything a good sport sir...
bhp lol .. I got 80 k for my car, I know they will sell it for 90 although they
said they would sell it for 85. I paid off 35k which left me with 45k and the
new car was 40 k. There is something magic about a 65, starting it gave
that usual solid roar, instead of a fart blowing down a funnel, and when
I pulled away I felt a tingle go through my body, and my mind was made
up. After having some fun I really would like to put a wide body kit, when
I get some money, unless one of you nice guys has one going cheap...
Then I got to get my Mandrus 20 inch rims on. Haven't decided what
tyres to put on, I have Continental 5p on the 63. A member has told me to
use 255x30 front and 305x 25 rear.
You can't imagine how excited I am, and look forward to posting pics..
