Awe, thanks for thinking of me Maverick!

After All these years, started in the January of 2008, the answer is No..

It's currently at ACG in San Diego. I had it shipped to them after Evosport went under and didn't do anything with it for the 3 years they had it. ACG has had it for a year now and didn't do anything for the first 8 months. Had to get on them to start building my engine. Current road block is that I'm missing the left side motor mount bracket which is currently discontinued by Mercedes, part number 113 223 29 04. If anyone can get their hands on one please let me know..

Soon.. I don't think so..

I have 2 motors for it, the one that's built now has Weistec forged pistons, ported heads, PTE cams, 82mm TB, smaller S/C pulley, larger injectors and fuel rail, TQ converter, and long tube headers. The exhaust still needs to be built and we are still actively searching for that motor bracket.

The other motor is the VRP 5.7 which now has Darton MID sleeves installed and new ported heads with larger valves and valve springs. The original motor had valve float and damaged an exhaust valve and piston due to larger valves and cams with stock valve springs. Currently looking at options for pistons, rods, and crank for this motor..

i think any engine mount from a SL55 will work. even if it has a different part number

Roger that, just can't seem to find any to include other years..

All M113K families got different Engine mounts design, Unfortunate it's Hard to find these Engine mounts, especially for SL55 113.992 or 995...!!

ACG sounds as pathetic as Evodump, they leave your ride sitting for nearly a year due to a single motor mount? Any competent shop would've fab'd 1 in a snap, or as Shardul pointed out sourced 1 from ANY 03-08 sl55 or sourced 1 from a salvage yard etc..

Not rocket science...

I think you need to walk into the shop with an M240 and just go to town ala John Rambo style in the hanger in First Blood 2

Makes my six months at Weistec feel like a walk in the park. I would think ACG would need the space for other cars.
