Grateful if some informed members could let me know the year of manufacture of my SL55 AMG. I also attach the signed plaque on the car. Could someone also throw some light on the engineer who manufactured the car.

Yea, there's a problem with the Vin decoder (on this site, at the top under "tools"), it doesn't recognize your number

The plaque is the name of the engine builder, not the car manufacturer (that is the MB assembly line). Go to my post - Your Engine Builder???, currently about 12 posts down on this forum and you'll find the reference to AMG's web site for matching your plaque with the engine builder's printed name.

Whilst cleaning the Engine today we have found the following etching on the engine: AMG A113 010 07 30
