get the smaller 84mm pulley from shardul and remap with eurocharged tune. Should expect 40-50whp.

get the bosch 10 ic pump. no splitting wires/ just plug and play. Works as good if not better then johnson pump, and johnson you need to split wires.

if you want additional mods, i suggest focus on cooling upgrades (secondary heat exchanger) and split cooling

Where are you located?

Have had pulley, EC remap, modified exhaust, new IC pump, secondary heat exchanger and LSD. Make it a totally different car. Not had chance to run on rolling road but certainly performance is in a different league to standard. Can be done by Eurocharged UK based in Watford 0203 2907049 or sales@eurocharged.uk.com.

You might want to upgrade your heat exchanger as well as your pump. These cars make a lot of heat.

Yeah I've read about the heat exchangers, are they easy to get hold of and do you have to do much plumbing in or dose it just replace the original one and yeah exhaust wise I was goin to try and get a custom one with valves in so I can loose the drone on a long journey

The Heat Exchanger is fitted as an addition to the original one. The original is located behind the radiator. The additional HE is fitted just below the radiator. The first one sent by Eurocharged did not fit but the second one did. Had it fitted by PCS near Portsmouth but Eurocharged in Watford could fit. Pictures below.

Before HE Fitted

After HE Fitted

If you are only looking for a bit more boost and a tune and some cooling, I would agree wholeheartedly with kingnash's suggestions, however, you might want to think about what your ultimate goals are. I say this because if you ultimately get bit by the mod bug like many of us and continue to add mods, there is a better path IMO.

My very first round of mods included, larger counter pulley as smaller sc pulley's were not really available back then, Bosch pump, heat exchanger, and tune. It was the perfect mod to start with and end with. Unfortunately, I did not end there. If you are ultimately going to find yourself wanting headers, then long tubes and a tune is your best first mod in my opinion.

Regarding clutchless pulleys, you might want to pop over to the W211 AMG boards and do some reading. Here is a good thread that I have been following.

https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...leys-same.html

We are seeing more and more SL guys wanting to do mods, but the W211 AMG guys are still the mod kings IMO and we share the same motor.
