like the subject says "SL55", he posted it in the E55 section, because we share the same engines as them (the M113k). its rare to see an SL55 run in the 10's due to the weight.

Nice! There is only one other sub 11 SL55 that I am aware of. A 1.61 on street tires is phenomenal.


The fastest R230 I am aware of is an SL65 that ran a 10.73 trapping at 129.01.

Ya saw that too, very kool but not really apples to apples. That particular sl63 has upgraded turbochargers.. VS the other v12 biturbo etc SL records posted by Cal1

For a V8 biturbo it's pretty well modified..

Though w/that excellent trap speed I bet he's capable (given a sub 1.6x') of 10.4x-10.50 flat!

Congrats to the OP!!! I never got an opportunity to get back down to Atco to better my time. I'm very sure there is a 10.70 or so in my car, with good DR's. Maybe next Spring if I still have the car.

I'll give you advice I'd love to follow.... Go to Atco, spend the night there or in Philly, then drive down Friday mid day to hangout in Baltimore (more food and drinks) and race Saturday at MIR. LOL I'm probably going to make it to Atco this time around, but back to work on Friday, followed by family obligations on Saturday. I look foward to meeting you and watching your car fly.
