SL63 AMG
2009 SL63 AMG Misfire?
I recently bought a used SL 63 AMG. Today I drove out of the neighborhood and the car started to run very rough - like it wasn't running on all cylinders. I pulled over turned the car off and re-started but still had same issue. Un-burned fuel smell and exhaust smoke. Brought it home and a few hours later, went to start it and it wouldn't start then wouldn't crank, all together. Any ideas what this could be? Maybe ignition coils?

Any help/feedback is much appreciated, thanks.

Perhaps a "Ground" problem. Check your battery connections.

Just had coils fitted. Bought from Rockauto, saved about a grand over MB
bits. Car feels really good now.

The numbers I gave are for V12 R230.
They might be different for a V8.
