I too like the GT alot, but I belive SLS is going to collectible one day, for the SL63 it realy grows on you, contiplating trading the SL550 for GT or SL63 or SLS, my heart is on the GT, but, only time will tell wht it'll be, once I test drive the GT, it might be it...lol

I absolutely hate the rear of the GT, it looks to Porsche. Then again I'm starting to hate most of the new AMG rears. Love the S coupe until you get to the rear of it. I'd go with SL63 over the SLS and GT.

I have said the same think about the SLS i do think in the future it will be a collectable due to very low production numbers and short run production. The GT will be the best handling car but if you want the drop top the SL is still great. I assume at some point they will do a drop top GT. Does the GT have ABC or conventional coil overs?

What do you want out of a car? Really two separate groups.
Having driven the SLs and SLS, the SL63 is a beast with marginal handling (dont' get upset 63ers; I own and track an SL65). The mid-engine SLS handles remarkably well and has very good acceleration - although, I feel my somewhat mod'd 65 is quicker (incredible torque!). I suspect the GT will handle and accelerate more like the SLS than SL.
Then, there's the matter of $... If it comes down to limited funds, comparatively speaking, the 63 is a steal.
Agree with DUTURK, the SLS is a collectable whose price may soften a bit, but will remain, % wise, higher than SLs.
My 2 cents...

I think Mercedes lost it when they produced the Nat Asspir 230. Followed
up by the 231 which I just couldn't get excited about.
Nearly all Mercedes are looking the same, especially from the front.
SLS is for personal taste, that just leaves the R230..
What is a GT ?

It's funny, the most expensive to buy, seems to be the one that has the most problems. I think it could be that the 65 is used for special occasions
and not driven enough, if you look, most 65's for sale usually have low
mileage.
